Welcome to Valley View Elementary School!

We are a National Blue Ribbon, California Gold Ribbon and California Distinguished School, located in the beautiful Crescenta Valley hills overlooking Glendale and downtown Los Angeles. Valley View is part of Glendale Unified School District. Our school is fortunate to be rich in diverse cultures. While many families have recently made our area their home, many of our families have graced our community for generations.

Valley View Education Foundation – MISSION POSSIBLE

Who we are:

VVEF is made up of a group of proud parents, of students at the school, with amazing teacher representatives that volunteer our time and efforts to supplement the school and our children’s needs so our students and teachers don’t feel the pain of increasing budget cuts.

Our GOAL HAS BECOME A NECESSITY!! We need new computers. Over the past 3 years, we have raised $35,000. We need $50,000 just for computers!

Ways you can help us reach this goal:

  • Mission Possible – Campaign for Excellence donation of $180 per child. See form.
  • Go Fund Me – For family, extended family and friends. Share this link (https://www.gofundme.com/valleyviewschool on social media, hashtag #GFMtoschool, and Go Fund Me will give the school that raises the most money an additional $10,000
  • Employer’s Matching Gift – Include your employer’s Matching Gift form! We will gladly fill it out for you. If you don’t know what this is, simply check this website (https://www.matchinggifts.com/rit/) to see if your employer offers a matching gift program for charitable contributions, as an employee benefit. Many companies do and it can automatically double or triple your donation, which makes a massive difference to our goal.

How can we do it?

It is not very easy for everyone to come up with $180 at one time, ESPECIALLY, if you have more than 1 child at the school. So here’s the plan!! A PAYMENT PLAN! You can break it up into 10 monthly payments, and you will receive our Thank You gifts when we receive your checks. For example, if you’d like to donate $180, put 10 checks for $18 each, dated for the 22nd of each month from August to May. We will NOT cash each check until the date.

WE NOW HAVE A SQUARE! Want to use a card? We can take it!!

Why we do it:

For our children! Please consider joining VVEF! See flier for details.
