Welcome to Valley View Elementary School!

We are a National Blue Ribbon, California Gold Ribbon and California Distinguished School, located in the beautiful Crescenta Valley hills overlooking Glendale and downtown Los Angeles. Valley View is part of Glendale Unified School District. Our school is fortunate to be rich in diverse cultures. While many families have recently made our area their home, many of our families have graced our community for generations.

NATIONAL READING MONTH – ONE SCHOOL, ONE BOOK:

We will kick off the month of February, national reading month, with one school one book.  Each Valley View family will receive the book Frindle to read as a family.

TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN AND KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:

WHEN:     Tuesday, February 21st, 2017

WHERE:    Valley View Elementary School

TIME:       Between the hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm

Kindergarten and TK Registration for next school year (2016-2017) starts on February 21, 2017. Enrollment Packets are available at the Office starting from February 21.

  • Please come to the Office between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm to pick up the Enrollment Packets.
  • NOTE: If Valley View is NOT YOUR BOUNDARY SCHOOL, you will need to register at that school and request a permit/transfer to Valley View via the School District. See links below…

WHY: To recognize California elementary schools that have made tremendous gains in implementing State Board policies and providing a quality education to their pupils.

This is a HUGE achievement and we are so proud of our exemplary teachers, and staff, for their dedication to providing the BEST possible education for our children.
